The SYNAPSE Project partner Asociación Mundus is a non-profit organisation based in Spain dedicated to promoting international cooperation, education, and social innovation. Working with partners across Europe, Africa, and beyond, Mundus designs and implements projects that empower young people through digital learning, intercultural dialogue, and sustainable development. Silvia Ganassi – Project Technician
Silvia Ganassi has a background in Law and several years of experience in international cooperation. Having worked with non-governmental organisations and international organisations across Europe and Africa, she supports the implementation of projects in Africa at Asociación Mundus. Within the SYNAPSE Project, she coordinates project implementation on behalf of Mundus, oversees project activities, and facilitates communication among partners to ensure the successful delivery of the work package led by the organisation.
Diego Fiorin – Project Manager
Diego Fiorin is a Project Manager specialising in European Union policies and programmes, with extensive experience in designing and managing international projects. His expertise spans sustainable innovation, digitalisation, and social inclusion. Within the SYNAPSE Project, he contributes to the implementation of key activities, including the co-design of the Digital and Intercultural Facilitation Labs and the development of the project’s Replicability Strategy, drawing on his experience in Virtual Exchange initiatives.
Sergio Lagarde – Africa Initiatives Coordinator
Sergio Lagarde is an engineer with a Master’s degree in International Cooperation and more than seven years of experience in international development. As Coordinator of Asociación Mundus’ initiatives in Africa, he provides strategic guidance to the SYNAPSE Project. Building on his expertise in Virtual Exchange programmes, he supports the implementation of key project activities and contributes to the Replicability Strategy, ensuring that the project’s methodologies and outcomes can be successfully adapted and implemented in other contexts.
